Woody Allen Takes Revenge, the Short Film directed by Peyman Naji is selected for the online Lift-Off Filmmaker Sessions @ PinewoodStudios 2022 and will be screened live on Vimeo On Demand for one month:29th August – 12th September. The Film is a Short Comedy that tells the story of Mamzy, an amateur theater director who loves Woody Allen.
The Lift-Off Film Festivals is an online event dedicated to bringing new audiences to the indie film market, ending with an annual live screening of the winning films at Pinewood Studios in the UK. Woody Allen Takes Revenge will be screened via Vimeo On Demand from 29th August – 12th September 2022, an exceptional online streaming service that is available through Smart TVs, Desktops, and a whole bunch of mobile devices including tablets and phones. The winning projects will be chosen by a combination of votes from online audiences and the official judging panel. The top two voted “audience choice” films, plus jury selections films will go through to the Network Round. The overall winning project in their respective category will receive a physical screening at an upcoming Lift-Off Film Festival.

Peyman (Mohsen) Naji, born on 24 August 1980, is an Iranian director, screenwriter, and actor. He is also a member of Khana Cinema (The House of Cinema) and a screenwriting teacher in Iran. Peyman Naj graduated in Acting in 2013 from the Karnameh institute in Teheran. He graduated in Directing from the lesson of Famous Iranian Director Asghar Farhadi and graduated in directing from the course of Shahram Mokri.

Woody Allen Takes Revenge is a short film about Mamzy, an amateur theater director who loves Woody Allen. He prepares a theater group and starts rehearsing Woody Allen’s Death Knocks. Mamzy decides to play The Death role himself. But everything goes terrible…
