Oggetti (Objects) – Anna Scarpetti is a contemporary Italian artist born in Palmanova (UD) on 2th of November in 1986; she graduated from the art high school in 2007 and she moved to Venice (where she still lives) to start her studies at the “Academy of Fine Arts” where she gets the first and second level artistic diploma with the highest score(read more about this artist.

Oggetti (Objects); represent the human being that turned into an object in different ways. Through its becoming “thing”, the subjects lose their dignity and identity in a way that is often completely unaware.
This process will start with the objectification of women in a male-dominated society. The objectification of an individual at work to the point of making oneself objects of society, with imposed and unattainable canons.
